Nutcracker Volunteer Opportunities
Dallas Ballet Company (DBCo) Guild is an all-volunteer organization. The success of The Nutcracker production depends on the efforts and contributions of Guild members and volunteers. The performance
weekend and preceding weeks provide many opportunities to get involved.

___ Help with Nutcracker costume fittings the first Saturday in October, labeling and assigning costumes to d dancers by size and role.
___Help checkout costumes after they have been assigned, and record student information.
___Take home costumes for laundering after Nutcracker weekend is complete.
___Work day (TBA) – cleaning, sorting and organizing the wardrobe room.
___Maintenance/alterations – basic hand or machine sewing to repair or alter existing costumes.
___Backstage seamstress during one or more performances on Nutcracker weekend. ( V V (Volunteer must bring her own machine.)
Flower preparation, assembly and transportation
___ Nutcracker week and weekend: Wed-Sunday. Dec 2-6 (any day, 2-3 hours) Help assemble bouquets for booth sales or t transport flowers from the DBC studio to Granville Performance Center.
Nutcracker weekend 12/4-6:
Booth sales and Lobby help before performances and at intermission
___Concessions ___Usher/Programs ___Help transport/set up Nutcracker Boutique
___Flowers ___Boutique ___Help pack up and transport Boutique after last performance
___Ticket sales ___ Backstage door*
___No preference – Put me where you need me!
* During entire performance and intermission
Sets and Scenery: Great opportunity for Dads!
___ Mon., Nov 30 – Take the day off and help transport sets from the studio to the Granville Performing Arts Center. S Stay a couple of hours or stay all day preparing for tech rehearsal.
___Sun. Dec. 6 Help with set breakdown and transporting back to DBC after last Nutcracker performance.
___General carpentry as needed.
