DALLAS BALLET COMPANY COMMUNITY OUTREACH

In keeping with their mission statement “to foster a life-long appreciation of dance to the benefit of our local community and the future of dance arts,” Dallas Ballet Company's dancers, artistic directors and Patrons' Guild actively seek opportunities to support their community through a variety of initiatives, both formal and informal. Examples of recent efforts include:

  • Offering shelter to studio families during the 2021 ice storm

  • Providing Nutcracker DVDs and programs to area senior living centers, hospitals and Ronald McDonald House during the pandemic

  • Offering rehearsal space to another area dance studio during a crisis for that studio

  • Performing Nutcracker Excerpts at NorthPark Center

  • Welcoming students from Park Crest Elementary in Garland ISD to Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal

  • Performing Nutcracker Excerpts at First Baptist Dallas Mother/Daughter Tea

  • Offering discounted tickets to residents at The Landon

  • Performing Nutcracker Excerpts and providing Nutcracker-related activities for patients at Children's Medical Center Dallas
